Factory 52 recently welcomed the Out N About Columbus team to campus for a closer look at everything that makes our Norwood destination such a unique place to spend the day.
During the visit, Brad Slomsky, Vice President of Marketing & Brand at PLK Communities, sat down with Calli Clark Greer, Senior Producer and Sales Manager for Out N About Columbus. Their conversation explored the businesses, events, history, and experiences that have transformed Factory 52 into one of Cincinnati’s most distinctive mixed-use destinations.
A Destination Built on History
Factory 52 is located on the former grounds of the United States Playing Card Company, which called Norwood home for more than 100 years. Today, the historic 20.6-acre campus has been reimagined as a vibrant destination where the past and present come together.
From the restored clock tower and playing-card-inspired details to the public art found throughout campus, Factory 52 pays tribute to the site’s history while creating an entirely new experience for the community.
So Much to Experience in One Place
During their time on campus, the Out N About Columbus team captured a glimpse of the many ways visitors can experience Factory 52. Guests can explore a diverse collection of local restaurants, enjoy drinks with friends, play pickleball, browse shops, attend community events, or simply relax on the Central Green.
The Gatherall brings a variety of dining options together under one roof, while the surrounding campus offers even more restaurants, entertainment, recreation, public art, and gathering spaces. With live music, markets, festivals, movies on the lawn, and seasonal celebrations happening throughout the year, every visit can offer something new.
